Natasha Lewis was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. She has lived in various towns and cities on the coast of New South Wales and South East Queensland.
 
Natasha has completed a Bachelor of Art in Visual Art at Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane. Participated in short course Painting Your Passion, with Lucy Culliton, at the National Art School in New South Wales. Studied creative planning, with a Partial Completion of a Diploma in Local Government Administration through Queensland Community Arts Network in Brisbane.

She has exhibited her art extensively in Queensland and has been a finalist in national and regional art awards. Natasha has also contributed to artist run initiatives, cultural events and projects in Queensland.

In 2006/2007, Natasha participated in a six month new media residency and exhibition project,
through the State Library of Queensland in partnership with Artworkers.

In 2008, Natasha travelled to the UK and Paris to independently study contemporary and historical art.
